Cannery knowledge – NON NEG.
HACCP/ISO or FSSC 22 000 exp. – NON NEG.
SANS 587:2011 – NON NEG.
Must be computer literate
Health and Safety knowledge
Online Quality Control Inspection
Check the quality of the products on line if they are as per consumer specification and check if it meets the Compulsory Specification requirements as well as GSA Quality standards
Take temperatures of the products and where there’s discrepancies, report immediately to the GSA Quality Manager
Check product weights if they are as per Compulsory Specification
Conduct/observe histamine tests
Check and record incoming raw material if it matches SOH as recorded by production
Evaluate and monitor all three CCPs
Record minimum rejects on the line
Make sure that the final product is as per the customer specification
Less customer complaints
Sort out the problem and if unable, immediately inform the GSA Quality Manager
Ensure testing equipment verifications are available, recorded and filed
Complete Histamine records and indicate to GSA QM when it’s out of spec
Waste records to be attached together with QC sheet and sent through to GSA QM on
Daily SOH report to be sent to GSA Quality
Manager at agreed time for assessment and planning purposes
All documents sent through to Quality
Managers for assessment
