IMA World Health is a non-profit, faith-based organization that that offers extensive expertise implementing programmemes to address integrated health systems strengthening, maternal and child health, neglected tropical diseases, malaria, HIV, non-communicable diseases, and sexual and gender based violence programmemes in some of the most challenging and post-conflict settings throughout Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean. IMA maintains a diverse and complex funding portfolio made up of both grants and contracts that support programmeme services across those countries and totals approximately $100 million annually.
IMA is currently seeking candidates for Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for a programmeme to scale up provision of nutrition services to reach as many children under two years and pregnant and lactating mothers in districts with high levels of stunting. The anticipated DFID-funded five year project in Zambia will support the Ministry of Health (MOH) to 1) support interventions to build knowledge, change attitudes, strengthen practice and expand services in order to prevent low birth weight and stunting, 2) strengthen delivery at district level and to build relevant institutional capacity for effective coordination, planning and programmeming, 3) improve communications and advocacy for increased services uptake, and 4) to support domestic resource mobilization, research, monitoring and evaluation of the multi-sectoral nutrition response to address stunting.
