IMA World Health is a non-profit, faith-based organization that that offers extensive expertise implementing Programmemes to address integrated health systems strengthening, maternal and child health, neglected tropical diseases, malaria, HIV, non-communicable diseases, and sexual and gender based violence Programmemes in some of the most challenging and post-conflict settings throughout Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean. IMA maintains a diverse and complex funding portfolio made up of both grants and contracts that support Programmeme services across those countries and totals approximately $100 million annually.
IMA is currently seeking candidates for Finance and Administration Director for a Programmeme to scale up provision of nutrition services to reach as many children under two years and pregnant and lactating mothers in districts with high levels of stunting. The anticipated DFID-funded five year project in Zambia will support the Ministry of Health (MOH) to 1) support interventions to build knowledge, change attitudes, strengthen practice and expand services in order to prevent low birth weight and stunting, 2) strengthen delivery at district level and to build relevant institutional capacity for effective coordination, planning and Programming, 3) improve communications and advocacy for increased services uptake, and 4) to support domestic resource mobilization, research, monitoring and evaluation of the multi-sectoral nutrition response to address stunting.
The Finance and Administration Director will develop and oversee the implementation of policies, procedures and systems for administration and financial support services and human resource management. The Finance and Administration Director will ensure that the project’s support interventions are in compliance with national and international standards, as well as, the financial compliance standards of the donor. This position will report directly to the Project Leader.
