Society for Family Health (SFH) requires support to review and maintain a monitoring dashboard for the STAR project. The dashboard will allow SFH programme staff to track the performance key project indicators, share results with executive team staff and other stakeholders such as PSI, donors and government. As SFH M&E staff have been trained and are capable of using Tableau software, the dashboard has been built in the most recent version of Tableau.

Time period: 10 work days over a 45-day period starting upon contract finalization.

Your contribution

a) A review of the STAR project M&E framework.

b) Outline of STAR dashboard with selected indicators, suggested visuals, disaggregation identified, frequency and time selection determined and discrete views determined.

c) Recommendations on efficient data maintenance and process for updating the STAR dashboard, including guidance on adding new data.

d) Draft a training programme agenda for SFH STAR dashboard users on reading, interpreting and using the STAR dashboard.

The training will be delivered by SFH staff.

e) Review the designed and developed STAR dashboard and advise on best practices of data visualization and incorporating all relevant features, e.g., disaggregation filters, time period selection, etc.

f) Add the STAR dashboard to the already established “Dashboard Routine Tracker” which will clarify the roles and dates of routine updates.

g) Provide further training and technical support to SFH M&E staff.

h) Submit final narrative report on M&E framework review, data management, and dashboard design, development and maintenance review.

What are we looking for?

a) Identification of an M&E staff point person and STAR programme staff point person to respond to consultant’s emails and solicit feedback as necessary from other SFH staff.

b) Delivery of STAR project M&E framework and project data.

c) Most recent versions of Tableau Desktop for M&E point person and Tableau Reader for STAR dashboard users.

Work Environment

The work will be conducted remotely. Dashboard development is an iterative process in which testing provides the developer with feedback to improve the design and functionality. As such, it is necessary that SFH M&E and programme staff are available for skype calls and responsive via email so that feedback can be incorporated into dashboard revisions and questions about data, indicators and eventual dashboard use be answered.

Job Details

Site Foremen provide leadership and take responsibility for supervising teams, ensuring the safety of crew members, implementation of OHSA guidelines, planning and scheduling of work, employee relations, and productivity of crew members as well as ensuring quality control.


  • Must have over 5 years’ experience from a recognized and reputable construction company serving in a related field;
  • A civil engineering qualification is an added advantage;
  • Ability to train and develop subordinates;
  • Ability to plan, control, execute and report on works, a must;
  • Ability to work under no supervision;
  • Loyalty and high level of confidentiality;
  • Excellent traceable interpersonal skills;
